Jeremy Miller, Owner, Director and Chief Pilot of Skythrills is a career instructor, having been flying for over 20 years. Having logged over 8800 hours, Jeremy is fortunate to have worked all around Australia, including the Royal Flying Doctor Service, and is now based on the Gold Coast in beautiful South East Queensland. Jeremy has a passion for teaching and has logged over 5500 hours training students from all backgrounds.
Jeremy's biggest passion is Aerobatic's, Warbird's and Vintage aircraft, and he has flown almost every make of aerobatic aircraft available in Australia, from Decathlon's, to Pitts Special's, Extra's and Yak's. He is also considered an expert on the CJ-6A Nanchang, and has flown other smaller Warbird's such as Yak-52's, Winjeel's and CT-4's. Given the opportunity though, Jeremy relishes the opportunity to fly open cockpit aircraft like the Tiger Moth, Waco and Stearman.
Over the year's, Jeremy has built a name for himself as a specialist Tailwheel, Aerobatic, Emergency Manoeuvre Training and Formation flight instructor. His courses have been fine tuned over the year's to deliver a product that delivers safe, knowledgeable and competent pilots and he prides himself on being able to customize each course to the individual's requirements. He is more than happy to and often recommends training with students in their own aircraft at their home airports as this has been found to be more beneficial than training in an unfamiliar aircraft at an unfamiliar location.
Jeremy also displays aircraft around Australia and internationally at airshows and events, and is currently the Formation Lead in the AOPA Freedom to Fly display team run by Paul Goard Promotions.
